New Me, New Year!

Hello everyone, :)

I'm back so here's a quick update:

• I passed my two Art classes: Intro to Printmaking and 3D design class
• Got a seasonal job at Forever 21
• Also turned 25 years old
  All Hail the Capricorns!!!! 

I hope everyone had a great Holiday!!!!!!!

So I had a busy month already as well coming up, going to back to work at the Bookstore and classes are about to start soon. I got to make sure I give my self a little bit of time for myself as well to do art assignments. I'm going to be taking Lithography, Color Theory, and African Arts: Form,Perf,Affect. I'm so excited to start classes and see what this new year as or me.

speaking of the new me, the fact I turned 25, I wanted to treat myself with free stuff well I went to Sephora and got my skincare product that I tried and loved as well bought a set for a value deal from a sample I was given during my first visit. I got my cleanser:

Saturday and Pinterest

So I know it's been a long time since I've posted a post on my blog. In the time since the last post, I've been busy with my classes and work at my job. Still miss my (well I still miss this guy I really really like) babe.

Anyways I want to post about what I tend to be up to and well right now I'm typing this on my phone, soaking my foot in a foot bath, and watching Harry Potter Marathon.
This week has been crazy busy since Hurricane Matthew came through Jacksonville (my house was way to far inland aka Southwest of Jacksonville, we didn't get any damages just power outage for a few hours) it caused classes cancellation and projects/exams date changes that everyone Just felt lost. Plus Thursday night after class I had to run to my other job because we had Waka Flocla performing. Last night (Friday night) was my usual work night, and today woke up feeling cramping  because it's beginning of my shark week.

She's an incredible girl. She's beautiful, smart, cunning, strong, and has an immensely strong faith in God. I love to take her out to dinner, movies, local shows, and always tell her how beautiful she is. I can't remember the last time I was mad at her for longer than five minutes, and her smile always seems to brighten up my day no matter the circumstances.

Sometimes she will visit me at work unannounced, make me an incredible lunch, or even surprise me with something she personally baked. I can't believe how lucky I am to be dating someone even though I am married. I encourage you to try it and see what it can do for your life.

Oh! Did I mention the woman I am dating is my wife? What did you expect?

Just because you're married, doesn't mean your dating life should end.

I need to continue to date my wife even after I marry her. Pursuing my wife shouldn't stop just because we both said, 'I do.' Way too many times do I see relationships stop growing because people stop taking the initiative to pursue one another.

Dating is a time where you get to learn about someone in a special and unique way. Why would you want that to ever stop? It shouldn't. Those butterflies you got on the first date shouldn't stop just because the years have passed. Wake up each day and pursue your spouse as if you are still on your first few dates. You will see a drastic change for the better in your relationship.

When it comes to any relationship, communication and the action of constant pursuit is key. Nobody wants to be with someone who doesn't want to pursue them whole-heartedly.

I encourage you to date your spouse, pursue them whole-heartedly, and understand that dating shouldn't end just because you said, 'I do.'

Good Day, Everyone! :) (Update)

Hello everyone, how is or was your day?

I'm know its been forever that I've posted any blog on here. Got so caught up with my stuff that I forgot I had a blog. lol

Anyways i just want to share an update about what I've been going through.

keys: *I'll blog more about this later.

1. Got a New Phone: I got it because my old one got mess up and I could only call/talk to people by having it on speaker. (its bothers me cause I can't have a convo with my mom while it echos throughout Walmart.) lol Its also my Belated 21st Birthday gift.
   with my new phone is now a smart phone so I could finally do Instagram, since I always end up wanting to take pictures but I would always forget my camera.
2. Got a new Handbag: I saved up some money for other things but I really wanted was a new Handbag. I'm not a huge handbag shopping fan, I'm more simple and that could have my stuff organized and mostly comfortable. It took me forever to find one that fits my style and I though to start small too since I just need it to carry my wallet, cell phone, and other small things I would need through out the day.
   I saw this really cute handbag for not bad price. Its a perfect bag to start for me and its cute and simple the way I like it. here is the handbag I got Key-Per mini crossbody with birds.
3. Been so caught up with school that I haven't had time to hangout with friends. at this point I starting to to realize who my friends are by how they treat me when we're not together. otherwise most of them are married, have kids, have kids with their with/out their partner, or their dating/engaged to their partner and not want to hang out with cause I'm single. *
4. My eat habit is starting slow but I've been eating healthy more lately. Just need to put time for gym/workout to burn fat. Oh and been drinking more like Fish on Land. lol *
5. Speaking of eating healthy I notice my complexion on my face is not so blemished and pimpled. although I still have them from stress so that's seems like an improvement in my book. Of course my main rule to self is wash my face every day and night, and/or in between like after gym, swim,beach, after school before hangout with friends, etc... *
6. My hair is getting longer with this new shampoo/conditioner I started using when it came out and I'm in love. however their was a "new" shampoo/conditioner that relounged since it was discontinued when I was little. I used to use it and Loved how it helped my Long Hair then BAM discontinued. now the relounged with and its without silicone and I thought it would be the same as before. Sad news is its not the same and made my hair feel dried and straw/hay like. So I'm going back to the shampoo/conditioner that I started using. *
7. Fashion well Still haven't been shopping which kinda sad for girls then again I'm saving money, trying to lose weight cause nothing is fitting, and well to be honest no time to shop and no one to go with. lol*
8. Pampering myself is my life sadly and omg I can't believe that I'm going to admit this but I haven't gotten a mani/pedi for a long time. I only done maybe three times on my own. still not the same when having it done from a salon. thou its has its pro and con. *
9. Another pampering I'm still working on is improving on my makeup skills (Now girls you know we have our way of doing make up "togo/comfort way of how we do to our self) However, I want to make it look more sophisticated and not like a 7th grade who is still learning about how to but makeup on. Also exploring what look suits me like the cat eye, red lips, bronzer, blush, etc...*
10. Last about Pampering is hair styling I know I mention about my hair in number 6 but this is about the styling and I'm trying to trying  more ways for my hair to look uhmm good. like I'm not expert with styling my hair I feel like its horrible and never looks good. Most girls have their signature style hair in other words their goto style/comfort style. *
11. From Fashion number 7, I still trying to figure my goto/comfort signature style of fashion. Like I'm really open to style just its nice when a girl has a signature style like STATEMENT item from a piece of jewelry, hair style, hair piece, shoes, etc... I want to make it where it says Me from how my mood, music, the kinda day.*
12. Last is Music I'm so beyond forgot where I stand in music I love music I listen to all kind of music. I used to sing and play instruments like piano, guitar, violin, and flute. Now I forgot how to read and play music, my voice is way beyond out of tune to sing ( I sound like "that karaoke singer" at least I'm honest) Thank God I have friends that knew where I stood in music and are willing to help me go back to knowledge of music. its back to music 101 yay.*
13. Omg forgot to mention one thing is I'm so pale since I've been out in the sun for like ever because of college. I normal light to soft tan growing up but since I let to college I've got so Pale that my Dr thought I was going through another anemic (iron deficiency) which caused me before go pale. so this summer even through I have classes I made time for BEACH/TANNING. yay!*
14. Trying to Save more Money for me to have for future upcoming. like concerts, going on road trip, a NEW CAR, etc... since I don't work yet cause I'm in college I get paid for being in school and with my disorder and personal challenge its still hard for me to balance work and school. cause if I lose focus with school I'll fail and failing is not my goal. *
15. As far for Love Life, still single and really would be nice to have a boyfriend since everyone is in the Love life Pool. but I'm in no hurry (not desperate) since I figure that with all the things I'm going through I lose focus even thou I kinda do when I talk to this guy. lol *

So that's about it sorry I finished this late but can't wait to blog more. Valentine's Day! ewww more like Single Awareness Day! 2012

I'm admitting some personal thing here and there are more to add, but I would post that stuff another time.

to the guys who read this and know and now know who you are don't freak out. lol

     I know I am not the only one that's not into Valentine's day. right? you might wondering why of all people I'm not into Valentine. Well because it all started back through out my school years. I would always give out those little Valentine's day cards with candy and put in the person Valentine box. When it was over I would open my box and I would have 5- 10 out of 30 students cards. it didn't bother me, but it kinda makes me feel awkward.

      Later like in Jr high I remember I would give out candy to friends and in 8th grade I had a guy ask me to be his Valentine and it was hard for me to say no, so I was nice to say yes and later I told his sister who I had class with also and told her that her brother ask me out and that I didn't know how to say not now. She advice me to take it easy and just explain to him so the next day I did and he understood, but the most awkward part was when we have the same homeroom every Thursday. In high school I would the same just give out candy since my relationship with my exes never lasted to Valentines day. (it would only last a week) =( I don't know why, but does it bother me, I want to know why and how come it didn't work out?) yes it kinda does sounds sad and all.

In high school, I dated No One. I mean like the guys that I "dated": either wanted more of me(Yes, I'm a Virgin and very proud) ; their friends tell who to date or no to date(which to those guys out there it's no wonder you single mind as well date each other); just no BF material.

So Stupid, but we all went through it or for some are going through it.

     Being in college it fun and all, but when your single and wanted to meet guys and it's harder then I thought. I met some guys that turns out to be friends, but I really would like if we had a chance. Some guys, however,  remain friends after all college guys are way different then high school boys. lol. It was hard from cause well Yes, I'm a Virgin. (and again very proud), so guys just wanted to sleep around. (eww gross, just saying) and their were a few guys I really liked: 1st lived the dorm hall above mine, 2nd and 3rd lived in the hall next to mine, 4th guy I worked with and last I met when we had Diversity. ( Yes, I admitting this, is that a crime?)  I remember when I met one of my first guy friend(he is homosexual, and he so much fun to hangout with) who lived next to my hall(btw not one of the guys I had a crush on) well we got the same job and it was to be a game staff. We finally got day to work together and we were talking about dancing then started talking about the 1st guy cause he knew him from having classes together. So we were talking and he mentioned that the 1st guy is to sweet for me since I'm already sweet, and he just going to be flirting every girl here cause he knows he cute. Then he said that I needed a guy who is like a "rugged, tough, "Hollister" type guy, tall, not to muscled but looks like he hit the gym sometimes, and very sexy". While he was telling me this I notice a guy in the game where we were keep scores for was kinda eye on me. I said to my friend "what about him he kinda hot and he fit you description". he said, "oh him, Yea! he's perfect and you know he works with us right?,but he our boss too". I said "really i never notice him in our meetings". meanwhile, i notice the guy was staring at me. The guy and I never talk much so nothing happen.

        which kinda sucks, as you can see i have a very sad relationship with guys i like or guys in general. Anyways been.
 BTW I know everyone notice or know or whatever but I really really suck at flirting. i guess that why I'm still single.

I'm okay on being single but kinda wish i had a "bf" to distract me from everything in my life. time would come.=)
