Christmas 2025 New Changes

 Hi Friends,

Christmas is almost here, and I have yet to set up the Christmas tree. (I have a mini one that I bought last minute last year.) We wanted to get a bigger tree, but our place is kind of small, and our dog’s crate is taking up the perfect spot.

What a year we are going through—literally going through it! We’ve been struggling to save money, losing family members, traveling, dealing with drama, getting enraged over things, applying for new jobs, and just trying to figure everything out.

This Christmas feels like another new beginning. I’m trying to figure out a good way to spend the holidays with the people you love without feeling like you have to show off, listen to the drama, or worry about who you “should” spend the holidays with.

I would like to start a new tradition that helps us actually enjoy the holidays without trying to decide whether we need to spend money on gas or Christmas presents. (Of course, it doesn’t help that my birthday is the eve of almost every holiday! 😂)

Some families have cookie bake-offs, gingerbread house contests, trivia, movie nights, and so many other traditions.

I’m not counting game nights or something that is already a planned event or hobby that can simply be Christmas-themed. I’m talking about creating a tradition that everyone looks forward to and remembers.

Like, “OMG, it’s the Kardashian Christmas Party!”

Or, “Wow, your holiday party is so well-known that the grandkids still talk about it!”

LOL. It might sound a little extra, but I think you know what I mean, right?

Christmas Gifts Are Getting Harder

So far, we’ve gotten everyone’s gifts for this year. We made sure to get them early enough, and honestly, it was a little hard because my fiancé’s Nana would usually help us buy gifts and wrap them for us.

I’ve also noticed that gift-giving is getting more interesting. Sometimes it’s something you need, and other times it’s something you really wanted. It can be harder to shop for people because we don’t always know what they need or want.

So, we end up texting other family members and asking, “What do they want?” Then we have to try to find it while staying within our budget.

For some of my friends, I like making gift baskets. I’ll put together things like different scents, candles, lotions, and maybe one or two things they specifically wanted from their list.

With family, it gets a little harder because we can’t all be in the same house. Then, with my fiancé and his family, we’re also trying to balance everyone’s schedules and traditions.

Which brings me to another question:

What do you do when you have multiple family Christmases to attend?

In my case, I work during the holidays, while some family members have an entire week off. So, finding a day and time that works for everyone can be difficult.

It can also be annoying when I hear jokes like, “You’re only here for Thanksgiving and Christmas!”

But sometimes we weren’t even invited to the other family gatherings. 😅

Some of my family would love for us to go up north, while his family would love for us to go west.

And honestly, I know our current house is too small for a huge family gathering, but I’ve always dreamed of having a big house where family and friends could all gather under one roof for the holidays.

Family Comes First

I may not be a huge fan of the Kardashians, but I do love how they seem to prioritize family. Family comes first.

They have such a big family, while for me, it’s really just my mom and me. My fiancé has a decent-sized family, but growing up, it was usually just him and his Nana.

I’m used to having a cute, small Latina Christmas with my mom. We would go to midnight Christmas Mass and then have dinner afterward.

After my dad passed away, my mom tried to give me a mix of both Christmas styles—the traditional American Christmas and our Latina Christmas traditions.

Now that I’m older, she prefers a smaller and more intimate Christmas.

My fiancé grew up with his Nana, and they would usually have lunch and open presents together.

This Christmas is a little different because his cousin gave birth to a baby boy. So now we have a Christmas baby in the family!

And then there’s me, the Christmas Eve Eve baby. 😂

Christmas With Friends

Christmas with friends is a little different.

We either combine it with game night, or we just go over to each other’s houses to drop off gifts and packages.

There’s something nice about having those smaller celebrations, too. They may not be elaborate, but they still give us a chance to spend time together during a busy season.

Creating a New Tradition

As for traditions, I would really like to start one and try to make it last forever.

I know some families have bake-offs, Christmas games, movie nights, gingerbread house competitions, ugly sweater parties, and other fun traditions.

But I want to create something that becomes our thing.

Something that people look forward to every year.

Something that our future kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, friends, and family can talk about years later.

Maybe it sounds a little extra, but I think the holidays should be about creating memories—not competing over who has the biggest house, the most expensive gifts, or the most elaborate Christmas.

I want something that brings everyone together and reminds us that family and friends are what really matter.

So, I want to hear from you!

My Tumblr is Blooming

I never thought how much fun and addicting Tumblr is.
I was alittle self cautious about what I post, reblob, or say on it thinking people would judge me but its nothing like Facebook or Instagram you can post whatever with judgment free.

I love it I can say, post, and/or reblog whatever I like and if someone else likes it they would do the same, if not then can scroll by.

I have so many follows than I started out with I guess the more things you post about your thoughts or visions people would like it. if you just reblog its get boring thou interesting at the same time.

Some stuff you can for you school research too. I found one post of the subject topic that I had to do my paper on plus it was helpful cause it had a link to it so I don't have to put down Tumblr for my word cited I could put the link it came from.

Eat Around the World in own Local City!

Just came up with a game for everyone to play. It involves world, food, restaurants, map/gps, passport, camera, and a car not plane. 

I was commenting to my friend picture of a German restaurant that she's check out. I mention its reminds of going to Disney World Epcot where you go to eat to different countries and could eat there.

I thought this would be a fun thing to do:
Travel the world in (your city),(my local city is Jacksonville) where you go to different restaurants that are from different country and eat there  with someone/friend/family or even alone and make a passport for the manger to sign and take a picture and/or videos as if your travel to that country.
Even funnier go to these places again or for the first for a culture event like German restaurant for Beerfest, Irish pub for St Patrick, Mexican restaurant for Cinco de Mayo, etc...
try not to go to restaurants that are more culture then something chain-link like Taco bell, Cheesecake factory, La Nap, etc...

go to more local cultured restaurants, pub, even place that seem sketchy could have the best food in town.(There was a little Mexican restaurant next to a sketchy bodyshop but don't let the place gross you out it was well clean and the food was so good reminded me of homecook meal). you can go alittle out of your way to eat like for example I could fro Jacksonville to Beaches or to St. Augustine.  if you want to go extreme fun then go to like Orlando, Savannah, Ga., Miami, Tampa, etc...
Depends where you live you can go where ever.

What in the name of Food?

    

a person: Why going for gay right when your a Catholic, Bonita?

Me:   I'm unique. I respect them as they respect me. I'm rare in my family. but that just me. I love anyone no matter what gender, race, believes. I learn that they are like us but different ways of wanting sex. if you notice animals do they the same and God still love them. we are about same percent related to animals especially on how the mate. why hate those who are different rather then focusing on how to cure those who are ill? yes there must me a balance of good and bad based on the philosophy of life, but nothing say the gay rights is bad and evil. about 40-70%* of gay happen because of an abused family from their father, brother, friends, or stranger, and the rest is in their gene. that is why I respect them. most I know are so nice and good the will one day be forgiven and earn their wings. 75%* of LBGT are super nice and sweet, the rest might not know how to control what happened and cause trouble. we "non gays" are the same. I do also think that why hate the gay rights when those who hate rather have a threesome? if hate gay why have threesomes? oh because some are afraid of what their peers would say if they found out. Instead of making more money by saying anti-gay your ll be more God children to help raise money for the poor, homeless, and/or those homes in America that got damaged. McD's is not a Christan but they give money to the Children that are sick. besides some people are allergic to peanut and cant eat at Chick-fli-a because of their peanut oil. that is my view on this. all for money.

April and May 2012 Favorites!

     So here are some things I Love that want to share. Each end of the Month I will try to show all y'all my Favorites. I would even do another blog/video on some on how or what i do with the products.

 Above is A candle I bought from Walmart. Its smells Pretty good like a fresh flowers. I would only light just to make the room mood feel fresh.

Above is Glade spring edition: Sherbet Sunshine.

Smells so very very Good I only light this to clean up the room. plus spray.

Even my mom loves that she would steal to use for the house. lol

Above is the New product that came from the UK.

Its My Most used and Favorite for my skin I used different wipes to remove makeup, but this one doesn't irritate my face. i also use to refresh my face after a long day/workout. (~)

 Above is Suave Dry Shampoo. Its drugstore price and I love the smell and it helps really good.(~)

Above is another Aussie Product, I been using this product since the 7th grade. this is like my FAVORITE. (~) 

Above is a Suave Touchable Hair spray. If you want to spent drugstore cash I would buy this. 

Above is Garnier : SleekandShine Smoothing anti- humid. milk/creamgel. Again this I been using since the 7th grade. LOVE it even My mom as one cause she would steal mine. lol(~).

Above s Neutrogena Mico mist airbrush sunless tan. in the shade med. #2, I also have it in #3. I used this before when I was a freshmen at my first college and love it. only twice i used this but now I'm waiting to lose weight to be more "smexy" cause i tried spraying now and i look like a tan blowup girl with bad tan. lol

I love St. Ives lotions I got this one for my daily use since i have dryish skin here in Florida and here its Hot, and when you have dry skin in hot weather it sucks. this help my skin feel hydrated and soft.(~)

Besides Kraft Mac and Cheese, I love this one above too.

I love tea hot or cold. since i was little razzleberry tea was my Favorite till i found this one that comes in a can and it cold. so now i have a nice cold tea for the warm weather here in Florida. and i can make my hot tea at home. plus this tea is not so sugary and i like it that way. and its for 99cents(US money) for a tall can.(~)

This  flavor is so good. I could drink at once but i like more slushy made. its to sugary. there is no Alcohol in this.

need help keeping you breathe stay minty fresh like if you were to a mint or mint gum and had water with it. love this flavor it works best after you brush your teeth or chew minty gum(same flavor) and you drink this cold. your mouth will smell, feel, and taste fresh. (kissing approved)(~)
